Tokyo Steel raises scrap purchasing prices

It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to raise its scrap purchasing prices by ¥500~¥1,500/ton at its five works from January 10th.

After the adjustment, its H2 scrap purchasing prices averaged at ¥27,500~¥29,000/ton.

Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing prices in Okayama plant are at¥28,500/ton; those in Kyushu plant are at ¥28,500/ton; those in Tahara plant are at ¥28,500/ton; those in Utsunomiya plant are at ¥29,000/ton and those in Takamatsu steel center are at ¥27,500/ton.
