It's reported that Japan's Tokyo Steel announced to raise its scrap purchasing prices by ￥500~￥1,500/ton at its five works from January 10th.
After the adjustment, its H2 scrap purchasing prices averaged at ￥27,500~￥29,000/ton.
Among them, the H2 scrap purchasing prices in Okayama plant are at￥28,500/ton; those in Kyushu plant are at ￥28,500/ton; those in Tahara plant are at ￥28,500/ton; those in Utsunomiya plant are at ￥29,000/ton and those in Takamatsu steel center are at ￥27,500/ton.
